The Thinking Child is a PSLE-focused education initiative dedicated to helping Primary 5 and 6 students master Mathematics and Science through deep understanding—not rote memorisation. Founded by a group of passionate and experienced educators, The Thinking Child offers thoughtfully designed lessons that build critical thinking, clear reasoning, and exam confidence. Hi, I’m Emma.
I’m a Primary Math & Science specialist focused on helping upper primary students master PSLE concepts with understanding and confidence.
I started The Thinking Child to share my personal teaching philosophy: deep thinking over drilling, strategy over shortcuts. While I lead most lessons personally, I also collaborate with a small group of trusted tutors who share this belief. Together, we occasionally co-host revision workshops, holiday boosters, and subject-specific masterclasses.
All collaborators are independent tutors I’ve worked with or personally vetted, ensuring that every child gets thoughtful and high-quality support.
